Insurance U is a premier provider for Louisiana bail bond continuing education (provider #10162). All bail bonding courses have been approved by the Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) for CE credit in general insurance principles. Classes are self-study; the course materials are distributed by e-mail. The members of our senior management team are industry insiders, licensed in insurance with prior instructional experience at the college level. Louisiana producers licensed for bail bonds are required to take a total of twelve (12) hours of continuing education prior to renewing their licenses. Effective with renewals filed on or after August 1, 2020, producers licensed for bail must include six hours on the topic of bail enforcement. Each of our courses have been approved for six (6) credit hours to facilitate your compliance with this requirement.
