This continuing education class explains why the number of errors and omissions ("E&O") claims are increasing and examines the most common causes of E&O claims with recommendations for prevention. Agents will gain an understanding of the agency relationship and the legal standard of care that is required. E&O policy provisions, conditions, and exclusions are explained using examples from a typical agency. Current court cases are included for emphasis and understanding.
